Is a user account required to shop at Academic Books?
A user account is only reguired if you act as a private or public company or as a contractual customer, you must create the profile before completing your first order. 

How do I log in? / I'm having trouble logging in 
You log in at the login box, which you find in the right side of the menu bar at the top of the page. If you have created your user profile using Facebook Connect, click on the blue Facebook symbol and log in with your Facebook account. Otherwise, enter either your username or your email address and then your password. If you are told that your username is not available and you cannot find a typo or remember the username, try typing your email instead. If you are told that your email address is not available, there is no user profile with the email address you entered.  If you have forgotten your password, you can order a new one (using either username or email address) that we will send you at the email address your user profile was created with. Link to new password is also found in the login box.

Can I have more than one account at 
You can create multiple accounts in the web shop, but you can only use the same email address for one profile. If you need more than one account (e.g. one for business purchases and one for your private purchases), you will need to use two different email addresses. If you already have a user profile but want to apply an email address that is already in use to another profile type, it is only possible if your existing profile is closed. If you wish to unsubscribe your user profile, please contact Customer Service.

Is it possible to delete your account at Academic Books?It is not possible to delete your user profile, but if you wish we will do it for you. 
Important: If your user profile is deleted, you will no longer have access to My Page and the information contained here. It includes both your order history, track & trace numbers, invoices, download links to e-books, submitted messages, etc. We do not have the ability to retrieve information for you or restore your profile once it is deleted. Therefore, you must be sure that you want the profile closed before you request it. If you wish to delete your user profile, please contact Customer Service.


What is My Page?
My page is your personal profile page at, where you can get an overview of your order history, see Track & Trace numbers on your shipments and collect invoices for your orders. It is also on My page, you will find links for downloading the eBooks you bought (under "My Purchased Books"). You can access My Page by logging in with your username / email address and password. When you are logged in, you will find a link to My page at the top right of the menu bar.
