Produktbeskrivelse

A Soft Undoing (Volume One) is the opening movement of a two-part inquiry into rupture and repair, published by In Between Knots in 2026. This issue reframes undoing not as failure or collapse, but as an essential, ongoing condition of living. It asks how our lives become entangled, how those connections loosen, and how repair might emerge through sustained attention rather than final resolution. While the broader issue spans two volumes, Volume One turns inward. It gathers intimate, embodied works that navigate the delicate textures of heartbreak, memory, migration, identity, intimacy, and loss. Within these pages, undoing is personal and felt - located in the body, in the nuances of language, and in the slow work of remaking a sense of home. The volume is anchored by the first part of an interview with anthropologist Tim Ingold, whose reflections on the life of lines conceptually and materially stitch the issue together. From the weight of care to the art of mending, these contributions trace how lives knot and unknot over time, suggesting that belonging often takes shape not through arrival, but through return and pause.  Contributions from: Amy F. Dignam, Amy Jackson, Anna Makri, Anna Tokareva, Antonia Gangi, Beatriz Chozas Barrientos, Daria Rosa, Elizabeth Bailey, Erin Gould, Esther Greenwood, Harper Walton, India Grace, Kashmira Mohamed Zagor, Marine One, Nelson Cunha, Phoebe Bowen, Rayya Khuri, Rebecca Matthews, Sarah Friederike, Stela Brix, Sylvia Amancei, Tania Ali, Tatiana Álvarez Giovannucci, Tatiana Garmendia, Theo Dunne, Tom Hallimond, Yasmin L.
