E-books for download
If you have purchased a book that must be read via Vital Source, you can read more information here.
Note: Please be aware that for some exams, it is only permitted to bring physical books. If you wish to bring your e-book to an exam, it is therefore important that you inform yourself about the exam format and whether e-books are allowed. Furthermore, you should be aware that the page numbers in the e-book do not always match the page numbers in the physical edition.
If you choose to buy an e-book, it is important that you install a reading program for DRM-protected books BEFORE you download your e-book.
We recommend installing the free Adobe Digital Editions program. Other apps for DRM-protected books, such as PocketBook can also be used, but you cannot use a standard PDF reader such as Adobe Reader.
Also, remember to authorize your device with an Adobe ID if you're using Adobe Digital Editions, and back up the e-book. This will ensure that you are protected if you want to move your e-book between devices.

Sharing of e-books is illegal
Adobe DRM is the copy protection that most publishers use on their e-books. Therefore, you need to create an Adobe ID if you want to be able to read e-books, even if you do not currently use Adobe Digital Editions as a reading program.
An eBook may also be watermarked and not copy-protected. Watermarking means that the e-book has a mark that hides on your order number. In this way, the label can be used to identify the seller and buyer in the case of a possible infringement of the Copyright Act. The watermark does not affect the reading and printout of the eBook, and you can copy the eBook unlimited times to other readers, such as a laptop, mobile phone, iPad, etc. E-books with watermarks or no copy protection are therefore more user-friendly than DRM-protected e-books. Whether the eBook is protected by DRM, watermark or has no copy protection, it is copyrighted material that may not be disclosed for use by anyone other than the buyer.
Please note that we do not sell e-books abroad.
